IMal. Group exhibition 'Overtoon'

Overtoon has been running, from its inception in 2005, as a backbone to develop the artistic practice of Aernoudt Jacobs. Since 2012, Christoph De Boeck has joined to co-direct the organization. From January 2013 Overtoon will be consolidating and expanding. It has received a structural subsidy from the Flemish Government and will operate with Saartje Geerts as a new flexible and half-open production platform producing the work of both artists. It will also offer yearly long-term residencies to artists with the aim to produce their works; they participate in our structure and can benefit fully from our facilities. In 2013 Jeroen Uyttendaele and Jeroen Vandesande will be the resident artists. On a more fleeting level Overtoon will be supporting the ongoing experiments of other artists. This way Overtoon wants to support artists and give new impulses to the field of sound and media art.
